Welcome to the Fellowship Of The Spirit

We are a Bible study class that teaches the uncut word of God according to the scriptures. On this site you will be able to download and listen to bible studies, and find links to other classes that teach God’s word according to the scriptures.

The Fellowship Of The Spirit is not affiliated with any organized denomination. We adhere to all of God’s word from Genesis to Revelation. We quite simply are servants of God!

Each person's salvation is in their own hands! We cannot be saved through preachers or ministers. If we don’t obey God’s voice we will lose the chance of gaining eternal salvation!

Take the time to follow us through this introduction, and if you care to rightfully divide God’s word, take what you find and use it to your edification. Get your bibles, pen and paper and join us in studying to show thyself approved!

Romans 10:9-17
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Absolutely true! But it doesn’t stop here. It starts here.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

We all at one time or another have thought that we found Jesus and accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. The problem is I had never known Jesus until I was taught about the real Jesus, the Jesus of the Bible.

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

All denominations that call themselves Christians come in the name of Jesus! Yet all organized denominations have traditions that conflict with the word of God.

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith is belief, and true faith, comes by God’s word. How can we believe in the truth if we have never been taught. So we all must be taught according to the word of God, not the traditions of men.

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

We all think that we have the doctrine that is pleasing to God, but if God’s word does not agree with our way of worship it will lead to eternal damnation.

Exodus 18:15-16
And Moses said unto his father-in-law, Because the people come unto me to inquire of God: 16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them known the statutes of God, and his laws.

Moses never had his own doctrine. There is no so called Mosaic law. Moses always taught what God told him to teach the people.

Numbers 15:1
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

God told Moses what to say! Moses never came up with his own words, he always relayed what God told him to tell the people.

And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do. 15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance forever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.

Every time a male Israelite is born another generation starts. A stranger is anyone other than the a physical Israelite. We will show you how to identify the true nation of Israel. If you don’t know who Israel is you can not understand the prophesy of God’s word.

16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

One Law and one way to worship God for all people or nations.

And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses, 23 Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;

All over the bible we are told that the laws given to Moses are good forever. We will prove this using the scriptures.

27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

Again one law for all.

But this raises the question what is sin?

1 John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Quite simply, sin is the transgressing or breaking of God’s commandments. We will break this down in several lessons and show you in scripture that the moral laws given to Moses are still good today. We will show you the law that was done away with. All God ever wanted was for us to obey His voice. Everything that God said to Moses, the prophets and His disciples was written down and now is called the bible. Adherence to the written word of God is obeying God’s voice.

Look what Jesus said.

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And look what God had Paul write.

1 Corinthians 10:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

The only God that man ever dealt with was Jesus! We will show this to you in several lessons. We will prove in scripture that the name of Jesus before He came in the flesh was Jehovah or Yahweh.

In His infinite wisdom, God also told us by the mouth of Isaiah, how to study His word.

Isaiah 28:9-10
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

The knowledge and understanding of His word.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

A precept is nothing more than a topic or subject. One topic or subject at a time building or leading from one to another. Each topic searched out line upon line or scripture read straight through the verses. Here a little and there a little or going from book to book, staying on that topic, to piece together the entire facts about a particular subject. When done in this way the bible interprets itself.

1 Peter 2:1-2
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

When we begin to study God’s word we must put aside all manner of selfishness, and approach God’s word with an open mind.

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: Just as newborns need to start off with milk and work their way up to solid food, we address God’s word as spiritual food.

We start with simple precepts that are easy to be understood, and then as we grow with knowledge, we will get understanding of what is needed to gain eternal life.

This spiritual food comes from both the old and new testaments.

Isaiah 8:20
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

We will show you through the scriptures, that light is the understanding of God’s word.

Ephesians 2:18-20
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

There is only one way to gain access into the kingdom of God. Through the truth of God’s word.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

We become servants of the true and living God.

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

The foundation of the new and old testaments, and this is the word that was given to us by Jesus.

Again we will show you that no human has ever dealt with the Father. We will show you that what is taught in the new testament is nothing more than what was written in the old testament.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Profitable for teaching us how to serve Him, for correcting false teaching, for guiding us back to His way of living when we fall short, and for a standard by which we should live to be righteous in God’s eyes.

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

That as servants we will know how to conduct ourselves and show that by our actions.

We have put a lot of emphasis on reading and studying God’s word. It is only by doing this that we are able to get an increase of understanding.

Acts 17:10-11
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

The people of Berea are an example of how we should approach anything that is shared with us out of the word of God. Be opened minded or with out prejudice. Then prove what we hear by God’s word. If we can’t find it in God’s word it isn’t from Him! Today we can prove this by searching history books and encyclopedias to find out where false doctrine or traditions of men come from.

Finally, we are warned!

1 Thessalonians 5:20-22
Despise not prophesyings.

Again be opened minded.

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Again prove all things we are hearing about the word of God. Once we see how He would have us conduct ourselves, practice those principles in all our affairs.

22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Once we do prove precepts with the word of God, leave alone the traditions that are not given to us by the Lord.

You will see in these studies that we will prove the answers to some simple questions that you may never have even thought about before. Questions like:

Who really is the nation of Israel?
Do we still have to keep the law given to Moses?
What day really is the Sabbath day?
What happens when you die, do we really go to heaven or hell?
Where is God’s Kingdom going to be?
Who is the Holy Ghost?
Who is the real Jesus?
What is the difference between the old and new covenant?
And many, many more!

Understanding God’s word takes diligence, patience, and bible study. Understanding comes through prayer and meditating on His precepts. Understanding comes through guarding our hearts or minds from impurity or unrighteousness. But most of all, understanding comes by the increase given to us by the Most High God. As we strive to learn and do what God would have us do, He will continue to open our eyes and show us what we need to be able to have a chance at gaining eternal life!

The only thing that can prevent you from gaining eternal life is you! Take the time and get you bibles, pens and paper.
